The Pagoda at 228 Peace Memorial Park

Here is another one of my first photos from Taipei 台北 back in March of 2013. This is the pagoda in the 228 Peace Memorial Park 二二八和平紀念公園. It is named for the 228 Incident (as it is euphemistically called), a civil uprising against the incoming Kuomintang government that bled into the White Terror and 38 years of martial law in Taiwan 台灣.
