Fènglín (鳳林) is a rural township of approximately 10,000 residents in the Huadong Valley of eastern Taiwan. It is the traditional territory of the Amis people and later colonized by the Japanese and KMT. Many traces of its Japanese settler-colonizer history can be found in its former immigrant villages.
