A contoured building in Singapore.

I saw this strangely contoured building not long after stopping to take a look at Speakers’ Corner in Singapore during a brief visit in early 2013. I did not leave with an especially favorable impression of this unique southeast Asian island nation, nor did I dislike it. I am simply no fan of mall culture and public space dictated by big business interests—which is most of what I saw during my aimless explorations of the city. There were exceptions, however, and I hope to catalog those in future posts as I slowly unearth choice images from my archives.
