Synapticism

An experiential journal of synchronicity and connection

Taiwan 台灣

Taiwan is a densely populated nation in East Asia with an incredible wealth of local culture, history, and natural wonders to explore. I first visited in early 2013 and moved to Taipei 台北 not long afterwards. In the fall I went on a bicycle tour all around Taiwan and got hooked. Since then I've lived in Tainan 台南, Changhua 彰化, and Taoyuan to experience more of what the country has to offer. Gathered here are some of my many explorations, observations, and impressions of life on what the Portuguese called Ilha Formosa, the beautiful island.
